Council leaders discuss state police security performance

Members discussed Council police leaders in the state last latest local, regional and security situation in the state, and performance indicators achieved by the police departments, and the efforts that have been made in achieving the targets strategy during the regular meeting of the Council which was chaired by His Excellency Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander of Dubai Police, in Conference Room General Command of Dubai Police, pursuant to the decision of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, No. "207" for the year 2010, and in the presence of members of the Board, Major General Khamis Saif bin Suef General Manager Security Criminal Interior Ministry, Major General Nasser Al Awadi Menhali agent Assistant for Naturalization, Residency and Ports in the Ministry of Interior Major General Abdul Aziz Maktoum Sharifi Director General Preventive Security and Investigation Federal Ministry of Interior, Major General Hamid Mohammed Hudaidi, commanding general of Sharjah Police, Major General Mohammed Al Awadi Menhali, Director General of Police Operations General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, Brigadier General Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla, the Commander in Chief Umm Al Quwain Police Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanim Al Kaabi Police Chief Fujairah, and Brigadier Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Deputy Director General of Ajman Police, Brigadier Ghaith Al Zaabi Director General of Traffic Coordination, and the rest of the members of the Council.

 

The Council discussed during the meeting the implementation of plans on both sides traffic and criminal, according to the vision consistent with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Interior and the federal government, in addition to assessing the security situation in the state, and traffic situation, criminal and anti-drug, and the mechanism of implementation of plans of Police Operations at the Ministry of Interior.

 

The meeting also discussed the mechanism for implementing the strategy according to the approved methodologies, and discuss periodic reports on the progress of the implementation process, as well as best practices leadership and police departments in the Ministry of Interior to achieve strategic objectives and to have it published.

 

The Council of police leaders headed by His Excellency Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, meets regularly and systematically once every month at least, or at any other time at the invitation of its president, and been approved and the recommendations of the Council by a vote and a majority in case of equal is voted president to two, and in the absence of agreement on a unified opinion on the issue under discussion and divergence of opinions, must Chair lift Thread Minister of Interior for a decision, and all decisions taken by the Council of the leaders of the police and that is ratified by the Minister of Interior, serve as a general policy of the Ministry of Interior.
