Seminar on electronic crime and ways to combat it

Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized, in cooperation with the General Command of Ajman Police, a symposium on electronic crime and ways to combat it. Lt. Col. Raed Al Zaabi, head of the city’s comprehensive police station, presented a working paper on electronic crime, electronic extortion cases and methods of prevention, and reviewed examples of cases seized in Ajman police.The symposium is considered as part of a series of legal seminars organized by the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the General Command of Ajman Police, the Public Prosecution in Ajman and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, with the aim of spreading awareness and introducing what electronic crimes are and what the law is responsible for raising awareness of falling into the traps of extortion. The symposium was witnessed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Saeed Al-Nuaimi, head of the Amiri Diwan in Ajman, and His Excellency Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi - Director of the Office of the Ministry of Economy in Ajman and a number of officials of government agencies and a large presence of students and community members. At the end of the symposium, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Saeed Al-Nuaimi, head of the Amiri Diwan in Ajman, and His Excellency Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, honored Lt. Col. Raed Obaid Al-Zaabi, Head of Al-Madina Police Station, and honored the providers of working papers and the introduction of the symposium.
