Ajman Police rescues two citizens, 11 Asian workers and 16 vehicles, after they were swept into the waters of Wadi Masfout
His Excellency Brigadier Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, said that the policemen made tremendous efforts to save the people of the Masfout and Mazra` area of Ajman from the runoff of torrential water in Wadi Masfout, as a result of bad weather conditions and heavy rains accompanied by strong winds, which led to the irritation of the valley's waters, As a result, the vehicle of two citizens was driven into the middle of the valley, and the policemen managed to drive them out, with the help of the people of the area, despite the strong and abundant waters of the valley.
His Excellency Brigadier Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi added that the police officers also managed to save 11 workers after being trapped in the sweeping waters of Wadi Masfoot, as the police officers rushed to rescue them, transport them and secure their safety with the help of the people of the area. His Excellency said that the police were also able to withdraw 16 other vehicles and save all their drivers and passengers from the waters of dry valleys and ponds and pools of water in the region. The Police Commander calls on all citizens and residents to be careful and cautious, not to go to flooded areas with valleys and to abide by traffic rules for their safety, given the bad weather and water frenzy that the state is exposed to during these days.
