Sultan al-Nuaimi: The rate of crimes during the first half decreased by 3594 cases registered in Ajman police stations

The total number of cases recorded by the General Command of the Ajman Police during the first half of this year is 3594 cases while the same period last year registered 4967 cases. According to security statistics issued by the General Command of Ajman Police, the number of crimes during this year decreased by 1373 crimes. The crimes against money are at the forefront of registered communications, with 2,778 cases registered, while the same period last year recorded 3,923 cases. Followed by crimes against people, where 359 cases were registered during the current year, while the same period last year registered 482 cases. Brigadier General Sheikh Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, confirmed the decrease in recorded crime during the first half of this year. Compared to the same period last year, pointing out that this is due to the implementation of the strategy of the Ministry of the Interior to reduce the crimes that pose a danger to the security and safety of the community by intensifying security patrols, increasing security awareness programs, focusing on issues that constitute a phenomenon and working to combat them as soon as possible. . The General Commander of Ajman Police pointed out that the criminal statistics for the first half of this year showed that there was a decrease in the total number of crimes with 1373 crimes from last year, and these are good security indicators in the course of security work. He pointed out that the indicators indicate the decrease and lack of serious crimes affecting the security and safety of society, while the crimes that occurred less serious than the crimes that occurred in previous years, and there is a significant reduction in the number of crimes with the knowledge that there is a population increase and growth of urban movement in the emirate, That crimes against state security amounted to 59 crimes during the past year. In the first half of this year, 50 crimes were recorded, with nine crimes falling. The number of crimes related to the public service was 29, crimes against religious beliefs and rituals were four, and trafficking crimes were not recorded. He stressed that the first half did not witness the registration of crimes of general danger compared to the same period last year, where three crimes were recorded and the same in cases of money laundering. He attributed the rise in the number of drug crimes during the first half of this year, where 127 cases were recorded compared to the same period last year recording 107 cases, to intensify efforts to combat drugs in order to protect the members of society. Brigadier General Al Nuaimi discussed the efforts of the Ajman Police General Command in combating crimes, pointing out the campaigns to control suspects and controlling residential neighborhoods and commercial complexes. The process of linking all banks and exchange shops with early warning in the police operations room has contributed to the prevention of bank robbery. The police sent text messages on the phones of bank customers who are withdrawing large sums.
