316 traffic accidents resulted in three serious injuries in the Emirate of Ajman during the low air

Director of the Department of Traffic and Patrols Colonel Khalid Al-Nuaimi revealed that the traffic accidents that occurred in the Emirate of Ajman during the days of the low air in the past three days amounted to 316 accidents. His Excellency said that the number of minor incidents reached 314 accidents without injuries, while there was an accident which resulted in one serious injury, and a traffic accident between a vehicle and a motorcycle resulted in two injuries.The director of Traffic and Patrols Department added that the reasons for the accidents are due to the lack of commitment by the drivers to the mandatory road line, the entry of the road without making sure it is free and not to leave the safety distance, while the accident occurred as a result of cutting off the road from non-pedestrian crossing. He called on the drivers to abide by the mandatory traffic laws, not to exceed the speed limit in all roads. He also stressed the need for pedestrians to pass through their designated places and to take all security and safety measures during the low air condition and rainfall.
