Ajman Traffic Department organizes a awareness campaign on tire safety

In order to achieve the strategic objectives of enhancing security and safety and making roads safer, Ajman Traffic and Patrol Department organized a awareness campaign on tire safety during which patrollers organized several traffic points on various vital streets in the Emirate and distributed brochures in both Arabic and English to light drivers and truck drivers. The risks of tire explosion, excess speed and its role in the explosion of tires in addition to the wearing of seat belts and the danger posed to the leaders of vehicles and trucks in the event of tire explosion.

 

They also gave them traffic and awareness instructions on how to maintain the safety of tires, and the need for periodic maintenance on tires to protect them from explosion in case of damage or expired, in addition to the need to adhere to the specified speeds, especially during the summer and high temperatures, which negatively affect the safety of tires and exposure to explosion Which may cause traffic accidents and the resulting risks and loss of life and property.

 

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Deputy Director of Traffic and Patrol Department, appealed to the drivers to check the safety of the tires and wear the seat belt for their safety and the safety of those wishing them a safe and happy life free from accidents.
