As part of the Ajman Police General Command's drive to achieve outstanding institutional performance, the Ajman Police General Command has launched the Ajman Police Award for Innovation to support young people and to discover their creative ideas, talents and outstanding national talents in educational and academic institutions.
Colonel Mohammed Sheiban Suwaidan, Director General's Office of Ajman Police, said that the leadership organized the award to discover, nurture and motivate innovative talents from the creative and innovative students of schools and universities, to instill a culture of innovation and to invest the ideas and abilities of generations to enhance security and safety in the UAE and to develop the ability to anticipate and create the future. In various fields, by promoting joint cooperation between police and educational institutions in support of innovation.
He added that the goal of the award is to achieve the strategy of the Ministry of the Interior and the General Command of Ajman Police, by providing solutions to problems in a new and contemporary way that helps in the prevention of crime, using the best information in the detection of crimes and to reduce the percentage of traffic accidents. And the increase in the percentage of job satisfaction, the percentage of public feeling of security, and many other benefits that can be attributed to the Ministry of Interior and Ajman Police.
As for the categories of the award, Ajman Police has opened the doors of participation for students of educational institutions in the Emirate of Ajman within the categories of students of schools and students of colleges and universities, where students can provide innovative ideas in the field of security innovation or traffic, as well as administrative innovation and creative idea in the services provided to the public, Participation also includes the area of financial creative idea, social creative idea, environmental creative idea, innovations will be recorded in the Ministry of Interior's proposals program to ensure the intellectual property rights of its owners.
His Excellency said that the leadership announced the honoring of the winners according to the centers they receive. The first place in the universities category is AED 15,000, the second center is AED 8000, the third is AED 5000, the winner of the first class is AED 10,000 and the second AED 5000 and AED 3,000, and all winners will be awarded a certificate of winning, participation and appreciation shields from Ajman Police.
