Closing the activities of the traffic campaign (don't let the speed make you a killer) in Ajman

The Traffic and Patrols Administration at the Ajman Police General Command has concluded the activities of the unified traffic campaign "Do not let the speed make you a killer", which was approved by the Federal Traffic Council and that was launched from the beginning of January 2018, within the framework of the Ajman police endeavor to achieve the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior, which is to enhance road security , And the goal of the national agenda is to reduce the number of road traffic deaths per 100,000 residents.

His Excellency Lt. Col. Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department, said that this campaign was organized for various groups of society in order to raise the level of awareness among young people of the dangers of excessive speed while driving, and to educate the public about the speed risks that may make the driver fatal when he causes accidents resulting in injuries or Fiat, stressing the keenness of Ajman Police to strive for the safety of road users as one of its strategic priorities.

The Director of Traffic and Patrols Department explained that we worked according to an awareness plan to make this campaign a success that included a number of activities to educate the community in coordination with the local institutions and departments in the emirate where we organized awareness lectures and workshops targeting drivers from government employees, private sector employees and community institutions (medical zone, Al Hassan Al Basri School, Social Development Center, Economic Development Center, Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, Emirates Transport Authority) in addition to spreading awareness through social media to Ajman Police, and organizing traffic points in the various streets of the emirate to distribute flyers And an awareness of road goers and drivers explaining the dangers of speed and public awareness of the importance of adhering to traffic and traffic laws, controlling roads and preserving people's lives, hoping that this campaign has paid off its goals for it.
