The Ajman cyclists team participated in the competitions of the third Ajman International Tour of Race, which started Friday morning from the Ajman Marina Marina with the participation of a large number of riders who raced for a distance of 115 km, organized by the Department of Tourism Development in Ajman and sponsored by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, head of the department.
Lt. Col. Mohammed Khalfan bin Hindi, Director of Support Services and Chairman of the Sports Committee, said that the police are keen on participating annually in the Ajman cycling tour by equipping the cyclists team which includes 11 riders, motivating the police staff to participate, and the police also participated in organizing the event and securing the itinerary of the cycling tour Allocated to citizens for a distance of 58 km, with the aim of encouraging the interest of citizens in cycling, along with another race for a distance of 58 km for all riders of all nationalities.
Ajman police participation in the tour comes within the plans of the Ajman Police General Command to support the sports and fitness aspect of employees and to enhance partnership with various institutions and entities in the emirate.
