Ajman Crisis Management team discusses ways to enhance readiness for emergency and disaster management

His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, head of Ajman's local crisis management team, chaired the first meeting of the Crisis Management Team for 2018, in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier General Mohamed Abdullah Alwan, Director of the General Administration of Residence and Foreigners Affairs, and His Excellency Brigadier Abdul Aziz Al-Shamsi, Director of the General Department of Defense Civil Society in Ajman, His Excellency Abdullah Ibrahim Muhammad Abu Al Shawareb, Director of the National Coordination and Response Center in Ajman, and a number of directors of federal and local institutions and departments in the Emirate.

His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, Team Leader, started the meeting by welcoming the attendees, appreciating their efforts to achieve security and safety in the Emirate of Ajman, calling for unifying efforts and strengthening cooperation between team members to achieve the highest level of readiness and preparedness for emergency, crisis and disaster management.

On his part, Abdullah Ibrahim Muhammad Abu Al Shawareb, Director of the National Coordination and Response Center, explained the concept of local operations regarding crises and emergencies in the Emirate of Ajman, and business continuity plans and their readiness at the emirate level were discussed, and follow-up to the implementation of 2018 exercises.

During the meeting, the most important lessons learned from the emergency housing that was established in the Emirate of Fujairah were reviewed in view of the turbulent weather conditions that the Emirate has gone through, in addition to discussing marine pollution and the proposed solutions to reduce it.

At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan Al-Nuaimi directed the necessity of making efforts to achieve the strategic goals of the joint bodies in supporting the team in disaster and crisis management, praising the continuous and continuous efforts made by the emergency and local crises team and the security authorities and social and service institutions of the state that mainly aim to protect the children of the Emirates And residents of its territory of any emergency and the preservation of property and achievements made by the state.
