The Punitive and Correctional Institution reinforces its social responsibility towards inmates in the month of good

The Department of Punitive and Correctional Institution in Ajman implemented a community initiative within the initiatives of the Year of Goodness to enhance its social responsibility towards the institution’s inmates and their families by distributing food and clothes to the families of inmates, in order to achieve the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing public satisfaction with the services provided.

His Excellency Brigadier General Mubarak Khalfan Al-Razi, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution Department, said that the initiative came to enhance the value of social responsibility and support for the charitable and humanitarian initiatives of the leadership, as it contributes to the recrystallization of the prisoner's ideas, and helps him to restore self-criticism to himself in a way that ensures his right path.

The employees of the Rehabilitation Department of the Punitive and Correctional Institution distributed 100 Ramadan baskets to the institution’s residents, in addition to 100 clothing for the families of needy in cooperation with the Emirates Red Crescent, to support their needs during the blessed month of Ramadan and relieve them in the absence of the head of the family, in order to achieve social responsibility and to satisfy the public for The services provided by the Foundation, and the Foundation’s administration is working in cooperation with the Dar Al Bir Society in the Emirate of Dubai to distribute 200 breakfast meals to guests daily throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.

The director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution Administration added, "Through our work we seek to introduce joy into the hearts of prisoners, and such initiatives have a prominent role in rehabilitating prisoners to become good individuals in society after serving their sentence, through the various programs and events that we offer, which It may form the basis of sound thinking about the reality the prisoner lives outside of his family. "
