The management of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Ajman organizes the sixth family iftar

On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, and on the Emirati humanitarian day, the Punitive and Correctional Institution Administration at the General Command of Ajman Police organized a “family breakfast for inmates” for 26 inmates and their families with generous care from the General Administration of Punitive and Correctional Institutions and the General Command of Ajman Police. This is the sixth initiative among the initiatives that The Foundation has been implementing it annually on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, to instill an atmosphere of joy and happiness in the hearts of inmates and their families. His Excellency Brigadier Mubarak Khalfan Al-Razi, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution Department at Ajman Police, said that this initiative that the institution used to implement during the holy month of Ramadan comes to enhance the value of social responsibility and support for charitable and humanitarian initiatives for leadership, where breakfast is an opportunity for guests to communicate with their families in this holy month, and to eat breakfast In a family atmosphere that prevails friendliness and happiness, it contributes to improving the feeling of the inmate and brings pleasure to him and his family, as it contributes to the recrystallization of the prisoner's ideas, and helps him to restore self-criticism to himself in a way that ensures his right path. A number of 600 breakfast meals were distributed to the inmates provided by the Hamid Bin Rashid Charitable Foundation under the supervision and organization of the Reform and Rehabilitation Department, in addition to the distribution of Ramadan bags provided by the General Command of Ajman Police, and the presentation of a holiday for the children of the inmates from the Punitive and Correctional Institution administration. For its part, Captain Amal Al-Mutawa, Head of the Reform and Rehabilitation Department at the Foundation said that implementing these initiatives aims to introduce joy into the souls of prisoners and create a family atmosphere for them, through their meeting with their families and allowing them to conduct a conversation among them, which reflects positively on their behavior within the institution, and that Therefore, a prominent role in rehabilitating the inmates to become good individuals in society after serving their sentence period, through the various programs and events that we offer, including such Ramadan Iftar, which may form the basis of sound thinking about the reality that the prisoner lives away from his family.
