Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, told Al-Bayan: The Ministry of Interior is implementing many new projects to develop police work in the Emirate of Ajman and expanding services to keep pace with urban development and population density and to enhance the march of security and safety throughout the country at a cost of 24 million dirhams. Pointing out that the most prominent new projects began work on the implementation of the Al-Jarf Police Station project, which consists of two floors and is located on the view of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Street, and 20% of the project works have been completed and it is expected to move to it in the first quarter of next year, confirming that the The new location of the center will contribute to the development of services, rapid response and access to various sites in the residential and industrial Al-Jarf area. Major General Al-Nuaimi said that in the beginning of next September, heavy and light vehicle inspection services will be provided at the new technical inspection center of the Public Transport Corporation in Ajman alongside the services of the current (comprehensive) examination center, to expand services and in line with the increasing number of vehicles in the emirate The process of installing the systems and mechanisms of the examination process in the new technical examination center in Al-Jarf. In addition, work is being done to establish two new workshops in the penal and correctional institutions for the first female inmates, which are devoted to sewing and handicrafts, with a view to providing them with the skills and professions that depend on them after the end of the punishment period, and the second workshop is devoted to men and it is for carpentry, dyeing, and manual work and it consists of two roles and has a special section for computer education In order to develop the skills of inmates and enable them to acquire new careers that help them in life, the works of the two workshops project were accomplished by 30%. The Commander in Chief revealed the start of work to establish a new nursery for inmates in the Penal and Correctional Institution, which contains many rooms and staff working with children and child care professionals. Work has also started on building the second floor of the Al-Naimiya Police Station, after moving to the new center at the end of last year. The project comes to expand business and develop services provided to residents of Al-Naimiya District.
