Safety control patrols 2000 required in Ajman since May 2017

"AMAN" patrols of the General Command of Ajman Police have accomplished many of the tasks entrusted to them since their inception at the end of May last year, where 2,000 accused persons were arrested in various cases registered in a number of the emirates of the country within the unified criminal system.

1900 services were also provided to the public on public roads, their vehicles were broken down, helping them to fix breakdowns, clear the way for traffic, and the patrols' contribution to providing humanitarian assistance to the elderly and children to cross the roads. Captain Issa Muhammad Al Shamsi, head of the ambulance and rescue department at Ajman Police, told Al-Bayan that 10 new patrols had been launched recently.

This is to enhance the role of the police in community service and to promote security and safety, pointing out that the number of "safety" patrols has reached 20 patrols operating in all residential, commercial and industrial areas with a view to keeping pace with the urban development and population density witnessed by the emirate and to achieve security and safety according to the strategy of the Ministry of Interior and the directives of the Commander in Chief of Ajman Police To lend a helping hand to the community members and to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community.

He stated that the patrols were launched at the end of May 2017 with 10 patrols, and 20 patrols are now operating and the number of patrol staff has increased from 60 to 80 with the aim of expanding security services, enhancing security in residential neighborhoods, controlling suspects and verifying their identities.

He pointed out that 2000 suspects wanted in various cases were seized by all the emirates of the country, in addition to the completion of 1900 services provided to the public on the public roads, especially those whose vehicles were broken and helping them to repair and clear the way for traffic.

Captain Shamsi confirmed that the police received many letters of thanks and praise as a result of the speedy response of safety patrols to the event site, which amounted to 8 minutes since receiving the report from the police operations room, and the patrols are following up the cases of missing persons and searching for them, stressing that all people who were found There were reports that they were absent from their families and reached them, especially young children.

Captain Shamsi stated that the aspiration of the General Police of Ajman Police to become comprehensive “safety” patrols operating in all security areas in the emirate to keep pace with the urban development and population density witnessed by the city of Ajman, and contribute to reducing the crime rate and reaching the event sites as soon as possible, to enhance the security march And safety among members of society.
