Ajman Police and University discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the field of innovation

As part of its continuous efforts to achieve the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior, which is to foster a culture of innovation in the institutional work environment, a delegation from the General Command of the Ajman Police headed by Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, and the presence of His Excellency Brigadier Ali Obaid Al Shamsi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development, His Excellency Colonel Muhammad Shaiban Suwaidan, Chairman of the Innovation Standard and a number of officers and members of the Innovation Standard team, visited the University of Ajman to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the field of innovation. For his part, the Commander of Ajman Police commended the good efforts and fruitful cooperation exerted by the university administration in order to support innovation, and reviewed the achievements of leadership in excellence and the awards they obtained, which numbered 53 local and international awards, stressing the readiness and readiness of Ajman Police to adopt the distinctive innovative ideas that support the work Security, especially with regard to artificial intelligence such as robots and their uses in the areas of security, traffic and criminal matters, His Excellency touched on the most prominent axes that the Ministry of Interior pays special attention to in relation to innovation, and declared the leadership's readiness to increase the number of winners of the General Commander Award for innovative ideas for university students, and the adoption of any distinct innovative idea presented by students that supports police work and enhances security and safety in the emirate. And across the rector of Ajman University d. Karim Al-Saghir expressed his happiness with the cooperation of the Ajman police and their initiative to enhance cooperation in the field of innovation, and recommended the need to intensify communication and encourage students to develop a culture of innovation. Then the delegation toured the Ajman University Center for Innovation and introduced M. Mohamed Othman Balloula, Deputy Director of the Ajman University Center for Innovation, the Wall of Innovations, which highlights the most important achievements of the university in the field of innovation, including the augmented reality glasses for civil defense, and the computer that works to convert the image to a three-dimensional image, and the Internet of things, in addition to learning about the photo printing room 3D, tools and equipment used in artificial intelligence. At the end of the visit, His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi offered many thanks and praise to the university’s administration for their reception and cooperation, calling for the necessity of intensifying cooperation and joint coordination to exchange experiences and ideas in order to achieve the best results and support the application of innovation in various fields.
