Ajman Police enhance environmental protection by participating in the Earth Hour event

The General Command of Ajman Police participated in the annual "Earth Hour" event by turning off unnecessary lights and electrical appliances at the headquarters and its organizational units for an hour, as an expression of the importance of rationalizing electricity consumption, preserving natural resources and protecting the environment, as part of efforts and initiatives aimed at sustainable development to rationalize the use of energy.
His Excellency Lt. Col. Mohammed Khalfan bin Hindi, Director of the Supporting Resources Department at Ajman Police stressed that protecting the environment and its resources is the responsibility of society, and providing energy is one of the most important ways to protect them, stressing the interest of Ajman police in participating in this annual event and translating its commitment to preserve the environment through programs and activities that work in it.
The Director of Resources and Support Services Department concluded, we are keen on adopting green application policies and practices, reducing resource consumption, and promoting positive practices that lead to achieving the goals of the Emirates Green Development Strategy.
