Ajman Police General Command managed to arrest a twenty-year-old Asian for trying to blackmail an Arab girl and his private photos got it after he was mistakenly added to the WhatsApp group.
On the details of the case, His Excellency Lieutenant-Colonel Yahya Khalaf Al-Matroushi, Head of Al-Hamidiya Police Station, stated that a twenty-year-old Arab woman was reported to have been subjected to blackmail by a stranger who sent her special photos, who modified her by adding his personal photo along with her picture and threatened to publish the photos if she did not send him money.
His Excellency added that the girl reported that a friend of her had made a group (group) through the social media program (WhatsApp) and additions of her friends from Arab nationalities in the group to coordinate a trip to one of the emirate's gardens where they exchanged pictures on the group, then the girl was surprised to receive her with an accompanying message In a modified form in which a stranger appears next to her and asks her for a sum of money in exchange for not publishing the photo.
The girls in the group investigated why the stranger was in the WhatsApp group to show that the phone number belonged to one of the friends participating in the group who reported that they had changed the number a year ago, so the girl with the photos went to the Hamidiya police station and opened an official communication. Immediately, the men of the investigation and the criminal investigation began to search and investigate the owner of the number, so he was caught and brought up and found to be a young Asian citizen called (PS) at the age of 22 years, then his mobile phone was freed and interrogated so he confessed that the phone number was in his possession, and that he had modified The photos include his photo with the girl, and the accused and the case file have been transferred to the Public Prosecution.
His Excellency Lt. Col.
