Residents of a residential complex in Ajman were exposed to fever and intestinal flu due to water pollution

Engineer Hamid Al-Mualla, Acting Director of Health and Safety Department at the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, stated that after receiving a call from a hospital in the emirate, there are cases of intestinal flu (vomiting and diarrhea)
The local crisis and emergency management team headed by Major General Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, held an emergency meeting to discuss the details of the accident, find out its causes and take the necessary measures to solve it. Case I reviewed the hospitals, all the cases were treated and left the hospital except for 7 cases that were exposed to a rise in temperature and are still present in the hospitals and their conditions are stable, and you will leave the hospitals today, God willing
In turn, the Municipality and Planning Department went to the building and initially revealed the presence of pollution in the reservoir. Samples were taken and sent to the relevant laboratories to determine the cause of pollution in coordination with the tower management.
The ground and upper tanks have been emptied, cleaned and sterilized. The water will be returned after ensuring its safety, taking all preventive measures, and the final analysis results will appear during the current week
In coordination with the medical district in the emirate, it was emphasized that all cases are simple and it was confirmed that the incoming cases were treated and left the hospitals.
