Ajman Police launches smart funeral permits service

His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah Saif Al-Matroushi, Director General of Police Operations at the Ajman Police General Command launched the “Funerals Permits” service through the Ajman smart application, in the presence of His Excellency Lt. Col. Ahmed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of Investigations and Criminal Investigation Department, and Mr. Naji Ibrahim Al Dhafari, Director of Ajman Funeral Service, and a number of Ajman Police officers and individuals, in pursuit of the Ministry of Interior's strategic goal of enhancing public satisfaction with the services provided.
His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah Saif Al-Matroushi said that the launch of the smart funeral permits service came within the framework of promoting the smart transformation in the services provided, and easing the deceased's family from the procedures and the time it takes to obtain the permit, in coordination between the police and the Ajman funeral service and the municipal department, and added that this service It is the first of its kind in the Emirates, which Ajman Police managed to reduce the time required to extract the permit from hours to a few minutes via the smart application.
His Excellency said that Ajman Police is seeking to coordinate with police leaders in the state to facilitate obtaining the funeral permit in the event of death in the emirate and the funeral in another emirate, and also facilitate the relatives of the deceased outside the borders of the state to obtain the permit within minutes to ensure that his entry into the state is not delayed, praising efforts Those responsible for the Ajman funeral service and their cooperation in implementing the service.
For his part, Mr. Naji Ibrahim Al Dhafari, Director of Ajman Funeral Service, expressed his thanks and gratitude to Ajman Police and the Department of Criminal Investigations and Investigations for accomplishing this service through the smart application, stressing that it saves effort and time on those responsible for the Ajman funeral service and those of the deceased alike, wishing them more progress And excellence in enhancing security and happiness of members of society.
