Ajman Police organizes the tolerance year championship for individual games for the inmates of the penal and correctional institution

As part of its continuous efforts to support and involve the inmates of the penal and correctional institution in sporting and cultural events, the General Command of Ajman Police organized a year of tolerance for the inmates of the penal and correctional institution for individual games 2019, in order to achieve the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior to enhance public satisfaction with the services provided.
His Excellency Brigadier General Mubarak Khalfan Al-Razi, Director of the Punitive and Correctional Institution, honored the winners and the Organizing Committee for the championship for their efforts in making it successful and seeking to support the skills and capabilities of inmates. The tournament was organized under the supervision of the Sports and Cultural Activities Branch of the Media and Public Relations Department in Leadership, in cooperation with the Reform and Rehabilitation Department of the Penal and Correctional Institution, and the tournament included chess, kirem, and domina games, in which the institution's inmates participated in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and competition.
Captain Khamis Thani Fayrouz, Director of the Cultural and Sports Activities Branch, said that the championship is keen to support the athletes ’skills, qualify and integrate them into society through their participation in the championship and competition in various sports activities.
For his part, Captain Mohammed Ahmed Sultan Al Dhaheri, Director of the Social Welfare Branch added that the winners of the first places were awarded the championship cup and valuable gifts, praising the good discipline of the inmates participating.
