Ajman Police wins the Ajman Award for Sustainable Tourism perpetuating the 2019 Green Government Initiative category

The General Command of Ajman Police won the Ajman Sustainable Tourism Award “Green Government Initiative Category” to be added to the series of awards won by Ajman Police at various local and international levels, in support of the Emirates green development strategy, and the Ajman government’s 2021 strategy towards a happy society and green economy.
This came during the honor of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, the award winners in its various categories at a ceremony to honor the winners that was held at Ajman Saray Hotel in the presence of Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, head of the Tourism Development Department, and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, head of the Municipality and Planning Department His Excellency Minister Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zyoud, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, His Excellency Minister Hessa Issa Buhamid, Minister of Community Development, His Excellency Mariam Bint Hamad Al-Muhairi, His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, and a large presence of departments and For government institutions in the state and the private and civil sectors.
His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police said that the police participation in the award came within an integrated pivotal project to achieve sustainability by highlighting the Ajman Police as a sustainable institution based on three main axes, namely the economy, environment and society, in order to support the Emirates Vision 2021 initiative, and a strategy Emirates Green Development and Green Economy Initiative for Sustainable Development within the vision of Ajman Government 2021.
His Excellency explained that winning the award is a positive fruit and a distinct success resulting from the moral commitment of the Ajman Police to achieve a balance between economic and social development and environmental protection, through enhancing security and safety that supports the tourism sector, in addition to its constant endeavor to preserve the environment and natural resources and to harness all possible means to preserve On resources and reduce harmful emissions to the environment, the application of environmental, health and safety standards.
His Excellency the Commander of Ajman Police gave this success to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman, and his Crown Prince Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, stressing that the Ajman Police is moving forward in the march of excellence in a way that supports the quality of life, and his happiness is also extended to many thanks to the leaders of the initiative and all Leadership employees feel responsible and committed to support environmental sustainability.
