Ajman Police wins the international award for soft control of a sustainable environment within the category of environmentally distinguished institution

The General Command of Ajman Police has won the international award "Soft Control for a Sustainable Environment" category of the environmentally distinguished institution, from the Environmental Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al Khaimah, which was included in the Golden category of the British Ideas Foundation for the year 2018 as an idea and a global initiative unprecedented in the environmental work environment, to be added to The series of awards won by Ajman Police at various local and international levels, in support of the Emirates green development strategy, and the Ajman government strategy 2021 towards a happy society and green economy. This came during a ceremony honoring the award winners in its various categories, which was held at the Double Tree Hilton Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, under the patronage and presence of Sheikha Amna Bint Saud Al Qasimi, in the presence of His Excellency Maryam Bint Mohammed Hareb Al Muhairi, Minister of State for Food Security, and His Excellency Naama Abdullah Al Sharhan, member of the Federal National Council , And a constellation of women leaders and pioneers of environmental work in the local and federal sectors from all the Emirates. His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police said that the police participation in the award came as part of an integrated pivotal project to achieve sustainability by highlighting the Ajman Police as a sustainable institution based on three main axes, namely the economy, environment and society, and the victory came as a positive fruit of Ajman Police’s commitment to protect The environment, through the initiatives implemented by the female component of the police, added a constant endeavor to harness all means to conserve resources, and implement environmental, health and safety standards.
