Business Continuity Committee intensifies efforts to implement the remote work system and provide smart electronic services to reach the application rate of 100% in government departments in Ajman

His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police and Chairman of the Business Continuity Committee in Ajman, in the presence of heads of local government departments in the Emirate of Ajman, chaired the second meeting of the committee in order to discuss the achievements of implementing the remote work system, smart services provided to customers, in addition to the unified efforts To maintain the health and safety of community members to ensure business continuity and efficiency, stressing the goal of achieving a 100% shift in the provision of smart electronic services and application of the remote work system, in all local government agencies in the Emirate of Ajman, in support of the country's preventive efforts in Fighting Corona virus (Covid 19) and preventing its spread.

His Excellency Major General Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi discussed the achieved rate for remote work according to the application stages in each local authority by following the issued guide, and the percentage of availability of smart applications in each side, where all departments confirmed their activation of the remote work system through the provided electronic systems and services, and applied center Ajman Government Communication 100% remote work system, and the Tourism Development Department transferred 100% of its remote services 100% and applied the remote work system to the specified categories,The Municipality and Planning and Economic Development departments also implemented priority services remotely, and on the police side, the General Command of Ajman Police implemented the instructions of the Ministry of Interior regarding the renewal of vehicle ownership through the smart application, in addition to the application of the remote trial and remote investigation system, in addition to the smart services provided to the public, Ajman Digital Department initiated electronic linking with 76 entities, which facilitated the system of work and communication at the local, federal and ministerial levels.

The committee reviewed the unified electronic systems that support the remote work system, such as the Taresh program for government correspondence, the unified government platform, information confidentiality systems, financial systems in the economic field and the unified data center, in addition to discussing challenges and identifying services that are dangerous.

The Chairman of the Committee stressed the need to intensify the precautionary efforts and preventive measures, and the application of electronic meetings remotely, to ensure business continuity and protect employees, customers and members of society.
