The Ministry of the Interior provided a service for the Federal Mobility Permits during the times of the national disinfection program at the state level through its website (moi.gov.ae) and its smart application (moiuae). These permits enable their holders to move during periods of implementation of the national disinfection program and perform their duties without incurring a violation. When issued, the permit includes movement across all the emirates of the state and within the one emirate.
Lt. Col. Hisham Abdullah Abu Shihab, Director of Operations Department, Ajman Police, stated that the service is also available on the Ajman Police website (ajmanpolice.gov.ae) and in its smart application (ajmanpolice), noting that leaving the house during the national disinfection period requires obtaining in advance the Federal Mobility Permit, in order to maintain public safety.
His Excellency explained that the mechanism of obtaining the mobility permit is done first by entering the name and mobile phone number, then a text message reaches the user. This message includes the OTP verification code to complete the mobility permit request, and then record the required data, the destination and the hour of departure. After that, the user will receive a message stating the approval of the permit request.
His Excellency called on everyone to the necessity to adhere to the instructions of prevention and staying homes and not going out except for the extreme necessity after obtaining the Federal Mobility Permit, noting that specific measures will be applied against anyone who violates the decision to restrict traffic from 8 pm to 6 am, wishing health and safety for all.
