In less than 48 hours, the Police vigilance enables them to seize two thieves, destroying an ATM in a failed attempt to rob it in Ajman

Police General Headquarters of Ajman managed to arrest two persons with Asian nationality who destroyed an ATM in an attempt to steal the money stored inside it, in the Ajman Industrial Area.

The details of the case, as explained by H. E. Lt. Col. Ahmed Saeed Al Nu’aimi, Director of the Criminal Investigation and Discussions Department of Ajman Police, are due to the receipt of a report by the Operations Room stating that unknown persons destroyed an ATM in one of the industrial areas in the Emirate of Ajman.

Immediately, a team of investigation and research from Criminal Investigation and Discussions Department was formed to uncover the mystery of the incident and arrest the two accused.

Upon examination of the incident site, it became clear that the ATM was completely destroyed by unknown persons with the intention of robbing, but their attempts were unsuccessful, and they ran away. By searching and investigating, and within less than 48 hours, the Investigations men were able to reach the suspects and seize them in their residence and found that they are two persons of Asian nationality.

The tools used in the crime were also found in their possession. When they were asked about the charge against them, they admitted to committing the crime with the intention of stealing.Accordingly, their acknowledgements were recorded and they were referred with the case file to the Public Prosecution.

Lt. Col. Ahmed Saeed Al Nu’aimi praised the competence, expertise, vigilance and efforts of the police to arrest the two accused in record time, calling on the public not to hesitate to report any person who commits any crime punishable by law, and stressing that the Ajman Police will be lookout and will resolutely deal with all Whoever tries to affect the security of the homeland and the safety of citizens and residents.
