Ajman Police Innovation Team checks out best practices in Smart Dubai Government

Within the framework of achieving institutional leadership and enhancing societal partnership with various government agencies and institutions in the country, the Innovation Team at Police General Headquarters of Ajman visited the Smart Dubai Government to learn about best practices in the government sector, and the experience of Smart Dubai Government in the field of modernization and development to upgrade institutional performance, to achieve the direction of the wise leadership to support the smart transformation in providing services.

The delegation was headed by H. E. Colonel Mohammed Shaiban Al Reeh, Director of Human Resources Department and Head of the Innovation Team at the Police General Headquarters of Ajman, accompanied by Lt. Col. Yusuf Abdullah Al-Awadi, Head of the Crime Scene Department, Lt. Col. Ghaith Khalifa Al-Kaabi, Head of Al-Nuaimiya Police Station, and Major Khalil Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Head of the Electronic Services and Communications Department, and a number of officers and non-commissioned officers from the Innovation Standard Team members.

They were received by Mrs.  Moza Shaiban Suwaidan Al-Reeh, Director of Strategy and Performance Development Sector in the Smart Dubai Government, as she welcomed them, thanking them for their keenness to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences with the Smart Dubai Government, then she provided an explanation on the mechanism of work in Smart Dubai Government at the level of the Emirate of Dubai, and presented Concrete examples of launching the project to transform Dubai into a smart city.

During the visit, a meeting was held at the Smart Dubai Government building in Dubai, during which they were briefed on Dubai's strategy to transform into a smart city. The team also had the opportunity to know their most important achievements and the most prominent projects and challenges they faced in the way of smart transformation, review the most important projects of the Dubai government, including 100% paperless policy, and integrate governmental and local applications in a unified application, the Heroes of Happiness Program, the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and the Smart Employee Application and other distinguished smart projects.

At the end of the visit, the delegation of Ajman Police praised the distinguished achievement of the Dubai Government in the field of smart transformation. H. E. Colonel Mohammed Shaiban Al-Reeh expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Dubai Government for their constructive cooperation and good reception to the delegation of Ajman Police, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two parties in various fields in order to support the quality of work and achieve the desired objectives.
