Ajman Police and Security Services Support Authority implement two systems of Theoretical Distance Education and Smart Driving Testing

In support of health and preventive measures to limit the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, and to preserve the safety of employees and customers, the Police General Headquarters of Ajman, in cooperation with the Security Services Support Authority, implemented the two systems of Theoretical Distance Education and Smart Driving Testing for trainees at the Ajman Driving Academy, within the framework of supporting the governmental orientation in the smart transformation to provide remote services.

Mr. Ali Al-Jassem, Director General of the Security Services Support Authority, stressed the constant concern to apply modern methods to support the smart transformation by harnessing technical systems to facilitate procedures and reduce time and effort and to preserve the safety of customers and employees, including the application of a theoretical distance education system for trainees of driving vehicles, where lectures are held via (Video conferencing) technologies in three languages, Arabic, English and Urdu. The trainee can book the training appointment "Online" using the smart service "Open Traffic File" via the Ajman Police G.H.Q Smart App and receive the link for the courses from the Academy, in addition to holding specialized courses for distance driving instructors.

H. E. added that the smart transformation procedures to ensure safety also included a Smart Driving Testing system through vehicles equipped with smart devices that can evaluate the driving of the trainee and give the result of the testing without the need for a tester in the vehicle, at the headquarters of the Traffic and Drivers Licensing Center. Consequently, the applied system reduces the mixing of trainees with testers, and supports the success of preventive measures in limiting the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.

In the same context, H. E. Colonel/ Sultan Khalifa Al Mehairi, Director of General Directorate of Vehicle & Drivers Licensing, explained that the Traffic and Licensing Services Center and the Authority have taken a series of preventive measures, including the complete disinfection for the facilities and offices of Ajman Driving Academy, as well as disinfection for training vehicles periodically. In addition to obliging the trainees to wear masks and gloves during implementing practical training classes. His Excellency also called on trainees to book the testing appointments via the smart service available on the MOI application.
