Ajman Police apply the distance education system to the prisoners in cooperation with Ajman Educational Directorate

In light of the preventive procedures performed to control the outbreak of Coronavirus, and in order to maintain the health and safety of General Directorate of Punitive and Correctional Est prisoners. In order to ensure the continuity of the correctional, rehabilitative and educational programs, Ajman Police General Headquarters, in cooperation with Ajman Educational Directorate, applied distance education system on the prisoners, in order to support the governmental intention for the smart conversion. As well as providing remote services and programs to ensure the safety and protection of community individuals and the works continuity. 
General Mubarak Khalfan Al Razy, the managing director of General Directorate of punitive and correctional establishment in Ajman, said that in cooperation with Ajman Educational Directorate a special account is created for each prisoner, with strong username and password, through which the prisoner can access Mohamed Bin Roshd Distance smart education system, such that prisoners are enabled to continue their studies like other students.
The managing director of the Punitive and Correctional est. added that the distance education system is applied to the prisoners, to ensure the continuity of rehabilitative and correctional program, which include the educational programs, through which prisoners can complete their education. This system is applied in cooperation with education directorate to provide remote classes through video communication system, in accordance with security control procedure, and following up the prisoners during study.
