Ajman Police Launches "Remote Data Update" Service

In conjunction with the State’s directives in the context of proactive preventive measures to limit the spread of Corona Virus, and in order to preserve the public health and the safety of employees and customers, Police General Headquarters of Ajman launched a service to “update driving license and vehicle ownership data remotely” via e-mail, which aims to simplify procedures, reduce the number of checkers, and reduce congestion and mingling between employees and checkers in service centers.

H. E. Col. Sultan Khalifa bin Hareb Al-Mehairi, Head of the Traffic Services and Licensing Center, said that the service of updating the driving license and vehicle ownership data is one of the services requested in the Center, as it is one of the complementary services for the service of issuing a vehicle driving license and issuing a vehicle ownership.

The Center announced the experimental launch of the service during the simultaneous period with publicizing the preventive and precautionary proceedings to reduce the spread of Corona Virus, as the number of beneficiaries of the service in the trial phase reached 1400 customers.

The head of the Traffic Services and Licensing Center confirmed the Ajman Police’s keenness to implement the remote work system for employees and the provision of electronic smart services through the website and application of the Ministry of Interior and Ajman Police and e-mail. This is within the framework of its concern for the safety of employees and customers, and in order to activate preventive and precautionary measures and procedures to limit the exit of customers from their homes and prevent the congestion in closed places.
