His Excellency Lt. Col. Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police stated that the Traffic and Patrols Department has finalized its plan to secure traffic during the Happy Eid Al-Fitr and its accompanying vacation, by intensifying and distributing traffic patrols, safety patrols and traffic controllers on the main roads and in various regions of the emirate, in order to prevent congestion, and follow the public's commitment to traffic restriction associated with the national sterilization program.
The Director of Traffic and Patrols Department confirmed that 50 traffic patrols and safety patrols will be deployed in various regions around the clock, to control traffic and prevent overcrowding in markets and commercial centers in all regions of Ajman, as part of a series of preventive and preventive measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus.
He said that this plan aims to follow the public’s commitment to the national sterilization program from 8 pm to 6 am and arrest the violators, as well as reduce traffic congestion during the day, facilitate traffic , and reduce accidents and traffic violations, such as driving recklessly , and having fun with vehicles on Public roads in a different way.
The Director of Traffic and Patrols Department appealed to the general public to support national efforts to limit the spread of the Corona virus by committing to staying at home and not going out except for necessity, avoiding gathering and visits, and offering congratulations and blessing on this occasion in safe ways without physical contact and handshaking, stressing the importance of wearing the face mask and maintaining Social spacing.
His Excellency stressed the necessity of the commitment of drivers in general, and young drivers in particular, to the specified speeds, leaving enough distance between the vehicles, and adherence to traffic law on the roads, wishing them security and safety and Eid Al Fitr, free of accidents.
