Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Record Census, launched a self-enumeration platform for the population in the Emirate of Ajman, which provides comprehensive and detailed statistical data on all residents and their demographic, social and economic characteristics, which contributes to assessing the population situation in the emirate.
This came during the press conference held remotely, in the presence of members of the Higher Committee and the Technical Committee for the Registry Census, and Dr. Hajar Al-Hubaishi, CEO of Ajman Center for Statistics and Competitiveness.

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid stressed that data and information play a fundamental and pivotal role in the process of making sound decisions, stressing the importance of cooperation and participation of all Ajman residents to contribute to the completion of this vital project that will benefit the individual and society.
He pointed out that “Ajman 2021 vision” is based on supporting the emirate’s competitive capabilities, developing them in the areas of sustainable development, building a green economy, in addition to strengthening partnership with the private sector and activating its development role.
Dr. Hajer Al-Hubaishi, Executive Director of the Ajman Center for Statistics and Competitiveness, during a presentation, reviewed the importance and objectives of the self-enumeration platform for residents.
Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ajman Police, said: “This experience is evidence of His Highness the Ruler's keenness to promote the emirate and reinforce the stereotype of development.”
Dr. Saeed Al Matroushi, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Ajman said: “The Registry Census 2020 project is a national project that serves the aspirations and future goals of the emirate.”
