Ajman Police enhances the physical fitness of inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institution by organizing the 2020 football tournament

Within the framework of the Ajman Police General Command's keenness to achieve social responsibility by integrating the inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in society and involving them in sporting and cultural events and events, the Media and Public Relations Department organized the Sports Activities Branch in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Training Department of the Punitive and Correctional Institution Administration in Ajman in the Inmates Football Championship for the year 2020 during The period from 11 - 14/10/2020. Captain Khamis Thani Fayrouz, Director of the Cultural and Sports Activities Branch and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, said that the tournament came to support the inmates ’physical fitness and encourage them to practice sports and develop the spirit of enthusiasm and competition in their souls, as the tournament was held with the participation of four teams in the knockout system, while ensuring compliance with all precautionary and preventive measures to combat the virus Corona during the tournament. In a related context, a sports educational workshop was held for the inmates, presented by Captain Muhammad Ahmed Sultan Al Dhaheri, Director of the Subsequent Social Care Branch, in which he talked about the importance of practicing sports activities during the Corona pandemic, and the role of healthy nutrition in building a healthy body. In conclusion, the winning teams and the individual prize-winning players were honored, amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm and overjoyed happiness for the guests who expressed their thanks and gratitude to Ajman Police for organizing the tournament.
