Ajman Police enhances road security by implementing the traffic awareness campaign "Preventive leadership is a requirement and a goal"

The Ajman Police General Command implemented the second unified traffic awareness campaign for the year 2021 under the slogan “Preventive leadership is a requirement and a goal”, as part of the traffic sector initiatives to improve road safety and achieve the highest levels of security and traffic safety, reaching 3 deaths per 100 thousand of the population by 2021 The campaign will continue until the end of next June. Lt. Col. Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, said that the implementation of the campaign came within the efforts of the Ajman Police and its endeavor to achieve the Ministry of Interior's strategic goal of making roads safer, and enhancing traffic safety by educating road users about the importance of preventive leadership and its role in promoting safety on the road. And reduce the damage caused by traffic accidents. The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department explained that the campaign aims to inform the public about preventive driving, which is that the driver drives his vehicle in the manner in which he can avoid unexpected or unpredictable actions or behaviors by others, whether drivers or pedestrians, which means that the driver works to develop His car driving skills to be able to avoid causing traffic accidents. Lieutenant Colonel Al Falasi added that the driver of the vehicle is a conscious person and should be an example to others in driving, and to have a safe driving ethic that enhances security and safety, and to be responsible for his safety and the safety of other pedestrians and road users, because traffic safety is everyone’s responsibility. Sufficient awareness of the assets of traffic safety, indicating that the campaign aims to reach the largest segment of society through various media, including print, audio, visual, and social networks. The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department called on drivers to adhere to traffic and traffic regulations and rules, and to take the necessary precautions and measures that ensure the application of preventive driving to avoid traffic accidents and the resulting deaths and injuries.
