The Ajman Police General Command participated in the activities of the Arab Traffic Week, which is held under the slogan "Accidents are not fate ... rather negligence and negligence", during the period from the fourth to the tenth of this May, which is supervised by the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, in implementation of the recommendations of the second conference Ten heads of traffic agencies in the Arab countries, within the framework of seeking to achieve the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior, which is to enhance road security. Lt. Col. Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, said that the Arab Traffic Week this year came to emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic rules and traffic safety, as it is a responsibility of every road user, stressing that the Arab Traffic Week is a true embodiment of a sense of shared responsibility for traffic safety . The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department added that traffic accidents pose a real threat to the stability of societies in view of the negative effects resulting from them from deaths and injuries, so they required us to stand true to find successful solutions that enhance the achievement of responsibility for drivers and road users with the necessity to adhere to traffic rules and specific speeds on the road, and this in turn It contributes to reducing the rate of traffic accidents and thus reducing the percentage of deaths and injuries resulting from them. Lieutenant Colonel Al Falasi stressed the importance of enhancing the role of educating the different segments of society about the correct traffic and traffic rules, and the procedures that guarantee them safety in all circumstances, especially since traffic accidents tragedies occupy all societies, in order to achieve and support the efforts made day and night in order to find means to limit traffic accidents And reducing its negative effects on the social, economic and psychological levels, so it is our right to take advantage of this occasion to enhance awareness of the importance of commitment by organizing comprehensive awareness programs, through the media and organizing lectures that include all segments of society with different races and languages.
