The Ajman Police General Command applies the laws and ministerial decisions regarding traffic and traffic regulations in the country

According to Ministerial Resolution No. 178 of 2017, Article No. 25, Clause B, stipulates that the violation of “driving an expired vehicle” will result in a fine of 500 dirhams and 4 points, in addition to 7 detention days if three months have passed since the expiration of the license. Ajman Police gives a period of 3 months to renew before applying the violation, in appreciation and taking into account the circumstances of the dealers, provided that the insurance is determined upon its expiry.
