Ajman Police launches the traffic awareness campaign "Safe Traffic Summer"

The Traffic and Patrols Department of Ajman Police launched the activities of the third unified traffic awareness campaign, "Safe Traffic Summer", as part of the unified quarterly traffic campaign plan of the Federal Traffic Council at the Ministry of Interior, to achieve the Ministry of Interior's strategic goal of enhancing road security, and believing in the importance of the role of traffic awareness for all segments of society, which coincides with the summer. Lt. Col. Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, said that the campaign was launched at the beginning of July and will last for three months, in support of the Ministry of Interior's continuous efforts to make roads safer to reduce the rate of traffic accidents and the number of deaths and injuries resulting from them in the summer. The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department added that the campaign aims to educate drivers about the importance of taking all precautions related to the safety of the vehicle, conducting periodic maintenance, and taking the necessary measures such as checking tires and ensuring their quality with the advent of the summer and high temperatures, and carrying out comprehensive maintenance of the vehicle and ensuring that it is free of faults that can To affect driving, adhere to the specified load of the vehicle and not load flammable or explosive liquid materials, indicating that the campaign targets all segments of society through various media channels such as radio, television, newspapers and social media to reach the widest possible scope to support the success of the campaign. The Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police called on drivers to be careful while traveling on land, to abide by traffic laws, and not to exceed the speed limit on the road to ensure a safe summer, wishing safety for all.
