Amnesty International when it is estimated that the Ajman Police will solve the financial disputes for 53 million dirhams during 2021
The Ajman Police General Command, through the Amnesty initiative, was able to
achieve its goals in supporting tolerance and the happiness of dealers by resolving
disputes in financial reports, amounting to more than 53 million dirhams during the
year 2021.
Colonel Ali Jabr Al Shamsi, Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations
Department at the Ajman Police, explained that the initiative launched by the Ajman
Police to promote the values of tolerance among members of society through
compromise in debts and amicable resolution between the litigants is still achieving
its goals by achieving reconciliation between the litigants, as it has managed to
resolve financial disputes amounting to 53 1,281 thousand and 178 dirhams during
2021, compared to 47 million and 184 thousand dirhams in 2020, an increase of
15.3%.
The Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department indicated that the
initiative was applied to financial reports that fall within civil, labor and family
disputes, and 27.50% of them were resolved amicably during 2021, stressing that
the police are working to provide facilities for the success of amicable settlement as
soon as one of them expresses a desire to solve the problem and give them the
opportunity and sufficient time. Once they agree, a pledge is written at the center
without referring the report to the prosecution.
Colonel Ali Jabr Al Shamsi added that the initiative aims to resolve the conflict
between litigants in large sums of money, including merchants and business owners
whose financial affairs have stumbled for one reason or another.
