Ajman Police enhances road security by implementing the Traffic Safety for Motorcycle Users campaign

The Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, implemented the unified traffic campaign "Traffic Safety for Motorcycle Users", which was launched by the Ministry of Interior represented by the Federal Traffic Council, during the month of March 2022, with the aim of enhancing traffic awareness among motorcyclists, in order to achieve the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior. of enhancing road security. Major Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, said that the campaign came with the aim of enhancing the security and safety of motorcyclists, by raising their awareness of the need to adhere to the instructions and follow the necessary instructions for traffic safety on internal and external roads, in order to preserve lives and property, and to achieve safe driving to reduce traffic. Accidents and serious injuries occur. The Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department added that the campaign aims to send awareness messages to motorcycle users who are widely spread in recent times, especially the representatives of delivery companies, including the need to adhere to wearing a helmet and appropriate clothing when driving a motorcycle, and to abide by the speed of the road while adhering to the lane and making sure that it is fully booked, in addition to The importance of ensuring the safety and effectiveness of tires and brakes to ensure their safety on the roads.
