The conclusion of the Furjan Ramadan Football Championship in Ajman

The curtain was brought down on the Furjan Ramadan Football Championship by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Ajman Police General Command and under the auspices of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, and it was held at FIFA stadiums in Ajman. Captain Khamis Fayrouz, Director of the Sports Affairs Branch in the Media and Public Relations Department of Ajman Police, said that this sports initiative strengthens the relationship with the public by investing the energy of youth and promoting the spirit of honest competition and sportsmanship among them and using their time to engage in various sports activities, which contributes to building a healthy and sports community. The commando team was able to win the championship after defeating the Emperor’s team in the final match by penalty kicks, 5-4, in a match whose original time was exciting and attended by a large audience, which ended in a positive tie with a goal for the same for the two teams. At the end of the tournament, individual cups and prizes were distributed to the winners, where the player Adel Al-Hosani from the commando team won the award for the best player in the tournament, while the best goalkeeper in the tournament was won by Hamdan Youssef from the Al-Jareh team, and the tournament’s top scorer, Salem Abdel Al-Karim from the King’s team, and he won the Best Administrative Award, Rashid Hussein, from the Knights Team. In conclusion, Captain Khamis Fayrouz thanked the organizers, all participating teams, sponsors and contributors for the success of such events that contribute to enhancing intimacy among community members during the holy month of Ramadan.
