Ajman Police organizes a workshop entitled Our Seniors are Safe

The Ajman Police General Command organized a workshop entitled “Our Seniors Are Safe” at the Senior Citizens’ Happiness Center in Ajman, presented by Major Fatima Obaid Al Shamsi, Head of the Community Police Department, in the presence of a number of Ajman Police officers and individuals, Ms. Moza Al Balushi from the Senior Citizens’ Happiness Center in Ajman, and a number of Emirates Red Crescent employees in Ajman. This workshop comes within the framework of the country's celebrations of the International Day for Awareness of Elder Abuse. The workshop was co-presented by First Assistant Salem Mustafa Al Jasmi and First Sergeant Fatima bin Zayed from the Community Police Department, during which several axes were explained, the most important of which was supporting the wise leadership by setting laws that contribute to preserving the rights of senior citizens and their families and educating them on how to deal and protect them from falling victim to various crimes due to the development world in modern technologies and support them in taking the right actions. In conclusion, Ms. Moza Al Balushi from the Senior Citizens Happiness Center thanked the Ajman Police delegation for their visit and participation in special events for senior citizens, and she also praised her important role in supporting the work of those who care for the residents of the Citizens Happiness Center
