His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, won the Male Award in support of the UN "HeForShe" campaign from the United Nations in cooperation with the World Association of Women's Police. This came during the 59th conference held by the Society in Canada to honor the award winners from the police component and their supporting personalities, with wide participation from different countries of the world, in the presence of His Excellency Fahad Saeed Mohammed Abdullah Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to Canada. His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police has won the first place in the award as the first Arab leader to receive this award since its establishment, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, with the vision of Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in strengthening and empowering police leaders and cadres, especially in the areas of empowerment Female elements and upgrading their capabilities according to supportive strategies and policies that provide the appropriate and healthy environment to unleash the capabilities and talents of all elements. The Ajman Police Commander-in-Chief won this award for his great role in supporting and empowering Emirati women in accordance with the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to support and empower women working in the police, which is in line with the national strategy for supporting and empowering women, and the efforts to support women in assuming supervisory, higher, specialized and other positions. His Excellency has directly contributed to empowering women in police councils, committees and work teams, and his great support for the Women’s Police Committee at the Ajman Police General Command, and his vigorous follow-up in the rehabilitation of many female employees as lecturers, distinguished assessors, quality auditors, and specialists in the field of criminal and traffic investigation and customer services, as well as supporting the involvement of Women in Arab and international forums. His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi presented this victory to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, and General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and a special dedication to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation "Mother of the Nation", which sponsors all efforts aimed at achieving the national strategy to empower Emirati women, praising the wise leadership's keen interest and support and empowering women in various fields.
