Ajman Police announces a 50% discount on traffic violations

Based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, the Ajman Police General Command announced a decision to reduce traffic violations by 50% starting from November 21, 2022 until January 6, 2023 His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander- in-Chief of Ajman Police, said that the reduction decision applies to all traffic violations committed in the Emirate of Ajman before the date of 11/11/2022, with the cancellation of vehicle reservations and registered traffic points, with the exception of aggravated violations, in order to achieve the Ministry of Interior's strategy aimed at strengthening Road safety, as part of the Ajman Police’s efforts to make all customers happy and to reduce the financial burdens on citizens and residents of the emirate. His Excellency explained that the aggravated violations excluded from the reduction decision are the violation of driving a light or heavy vehicle in a way that endangers his life or the life, safety or security of others, a violation of truck drivers overtaking in a place where overtaking is prohibited, and a violation of exceeding the speed limit of more than 80 km in The hour, the violation of making changes to the vehicle without a license, and the violation of exceeding the red light with cancellation of reservation only for light vehicles and motorbikes. His Excellency called on all vehicle owners to take advantage of the decision to pay the accumulated violations, and comply with traffic rules to ensure traffic safety, noting that the discount decision came with the aim of taking into account the social and economic conditions of individuals and alleviating them, and in the interest of the Ajman Police to enhance the continuity of development and harnessing the means to ensure the happiness of customers and achieve their business without disrupting their interests, wishing safety for all.
