The Police Club for Sports and Shooting Ramadan Council discusses ways to promote a culture of sports and physical fitness

The Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Police Club for Sports and Shooting, organized its first Ramadan council for the year 2023 entitled "Sports and Society" in its first session to discuss ways to promote the culture of sports and physical fitness among members of society. Director General of Police Operations, Brigadier General Ali Obaid Al Shamsi, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department, a group of officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals and civilians at Ajman Police, and a number of athletes who are members of the Ajman Club for People of Determination. The council, which was moderated by the journalist Abdullah Al-Kaabi, hosted fitness experts and the university, namely Mr. Adel Al-Hosani, an international lecturer and fitness trainer, and Mr. Jamal Al-Shaafar, a distinguished Emirati athlete and owner of the "Jamal Al-Shaafar" challenge. Mr. Adel Al Hosani discussed the challenges facing spreading the culture of sports among members of society, and how to harmonize the requirements of maintaining physical fitness with the capabilities of the individual in society to reach the best possible result. For his part, Mr. Abdullah Al-Shaafar talked about sports practices in Ramadan, in terms of the most suitable times for exercising for the fasting person and the correct Ramadan habits, which are represented by proper nutrition for the fasting person, and the appropriate types of sports activities. In a related context, His Excellency Brigadier General Khalid Muhammad Naimi stressed the importance of the role of rational leadership in supporting the community sports sector by providing sports facilities, and Brigadier Abdullah Saif Al Matroushi indicated that the real practice of sport is represented by the desire emanating from the personality to maintain better health. At the end of the session, His Excellency the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police honored them and praised them for their presence and active participation in enriching the Ramadan Council of the Police Sports and Shooting Club.
