Ajman Police welcomes the new academic year by launching the Our Sons Amana awareness campaign

In conjunction with the return of school students to their classrooms, the Ajman Police General Command implemented a traffic plan to ensure the beginning of a safe academic year free of accidents and anything that threatens the security and safety of students, by launching the fourth quarterly campaign under the slogan “Our Children are Trust.” Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, said that the police pay great attention to ensuring the transportation of students to their schools at the beginning of the new academic year, whether on buses transporting students or accompanied by their families. To achieve this goal, a quarterly campaign was launched to raise awareness among all segments of society. Especially students, parents, supervisors and bus drivers, in Arabic, English and Urdu, with the correct instructions for student transportation, through awareness lectures in schools and various social media outlets, and publishing brochures and traffic instructions. The Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department added that traffic patrols were deployed in the early morning hours in school gathering areas and main roads in the emirate to regulate traffic and reduce traffic congestion in cooperation with the Drone Center, which contributed to identifying congestion sites. Colonel Saif Al Falasi confirmed that police patrols were able to control traffic, as the emirate’s roads and school gathering sites witnessed smooth, smooth movement. His Excellency also called on drivers to adhere to traffic laws and speed limits, and to be careful while transporting students to schools in order to ensure the safety of our children and reduce traffic accidents. And the negative effects that result from it, wishing them a safe academic year filled with success and excellence.
