Ajman Police takes over the activities of Arab Traffic Week under the slogan “With our awareness we arrive safe”

The Ajman Police General Command concluded the activities of Arab Traffic Week 2024 under the slogan: “With our awareness, we arrive safe,” which came to enhance awareness of the importance of traffic safety, and to motivate society to adhere to traffic rules and adhere to proper behaviors while driving, during the period May 4 - 10, 2024, to emphasize the importance of Traffic awareness, and its effective role in preventing accidents and achieving traffic safety. Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Humaid bin Hindi, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, stressed that awareness and education are important to enhance behaviors and awareness of traffic rules and safe behaviors on the roads, and that traffic safety is not just a government responsibility, but rather a joint effort between all official and private agencies, as it represents an ongoing challenge that requires... Joining all efforts, sharing challenges and plans to build a safe and permanent traffic environment. The activities included awareness lectures targeting backward groups of society and government institutions, distributing awareness leaflets and organizing school events, as well as educational awareness competitions with the public, in addition to honoring exemplary drivers in the Traffic and Patrols Department in Ajman. Lieutenant Colonel Bin Hindi added that awareness requires the solidarity of all professional bodies, and a commitment to educating society about traffic rules, pointing out that this year’s slogan, “With our awareness, we arrive safe,” sums up the duty in the path of development and advancement, and that awareness is the important password for achieving security in society.
