Major General Sheikh Sultan Al Nuaimi heads the Ministry of Interior delegation to the Special Operations Conference and Exhibition (SOFEX 2024) in Jordan

The Ministry of Interior delegation, headed by His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, visited the Special Operations Exhibition “SOFEX” 2024, which is being held at the Aqaba International Exhibition and Convention Center in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan during the period from September 2 to 5, with the attendance of more than 300 international entities and companies specialized in defense and security industries, to display the latest products and advanced solutions in this field. The delegation participated in the opening of the conference and the organized sessions, and His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police visited the exhibition, accompanied by His Excellency Major General Hamdan Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Commander of the National Guard in the UAE, during which they learned about the defense industries and special operations equipment, the most prominent distinguished participations, security capabilities and modern technologies on display, in the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Mohammed bin Hazim Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department, and expert Ghazi Yassin Al Subaihi from the General Command of Ajman Police. The delegation learned about the displays of light and medium weapons, offensive and reconnaissance drones, and the latest defensive devices and equipment used by armies and security units. His Excellency Major General Sultan Al Nuaimi said that the visit comes within the framework of the keenness of the Ministry of Interior and Ajman Police to enhance cooperation with leading countries in developing and modernizing security capabilities, noting that the visit to the exhibition supports the frameworks of international cooperation in the field of special operations and national security. His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi stressed that the Special Operations Conference and Exhibition represents a unique platform that allows its visitors to learn about the leadership of countries in the innovative defense and security industries sector, which supports the ability to keep pace with the latest developments in the field of defense and security. SOFEX is one of the most important defense exhibitions in the region, attracting more than 16,000 visitors from different countries, and bringing together leaders and experts in the defense and security sector in the world, in addition to its important role in strengthening frameworks for international cooperation in the field of special operations and national security.
