Ajman Police organizes a campaign to prevent random parking at mosques

As part of its efforts to enhance traffic safety and regulate traffic, the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police General Headquarters launched an awareness campaign aimed at preventing random parking in front of mosques during Taraweeh prayers and Qiyam in the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan. Captain Hamdan Ahmed Al Raisi, Director of Ajman Police Traffic Awareness and Media Branch, said that the campaign came within the framework of Ajman Police's continuous efforts to maintain public order and facilitate the movement of vehicles and pedestrians, especially during Taraweeh and Qiyaam prayer times. The Director of the Traffic Awareness and Media Branch added that the campaign targets the areas surrounding mosques, where traffic personnel intensify their presence in these sites to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations in force, and the campaign also includes spreading awareness about the importance of correct parking in the designated places and not obstructing traffic or causing traffic congestion. Captain Hamdan pointed out that random parking in front of mosques poses a danger to the safety of community members as it obstructs the movement of emergency vehicles, hinders smooth access to mosques, and affects the flow of traffic in residential neighborhoods.
