Ajman Police Launches "Delivery: Responsibility and Safety" Initiative

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance traffic safety on the roads, the Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, launched the "Delivery: Responsibility and Safety" initiative for delivery motorcycle drivers. The initiative aims to enhance the safety of motorcycle drivers and road users and reduce accidents resulting from the unsafe use of motorcycles. His Excellency Brigadier Abdullah Saif Al Matrooshi, Director General of Police Operations, stated that this initiative comes in light of the significant increase in the use of motorcycles for delivery services and the increase in traffic accidents related to delivery motorcycles. This has highlighted the need to raise awareness of safety and responsibility among delivery motorcycle drivers, emphasizing that the safety of drivers and road users is a top priority for achieving the highest levels of traffic and road safety. The Director General of Police Operations explained that the initiative aims to raise awareness among delivery motorcycle drivers of the importance of adhering to safe driving requirements and avoiding violations and behaviors that obstruct traffic or threaten the safety of drivers and road users, to ensure the safety and security of all.
