Ajman Police Enhances Quality of Life for Martyrs' Families with Launch of "Martyr's Trust" Initiative
In line with our wise government's declaration of 2025 as the Year of Community, and in line with the "We the Emirates 2031" vision aimed at strengthening community ties and relations, the Ajman Police General Command launched the "Martyr's Trust" initiative to enhance the quality of life for martyrs' families by providing integrated proactive community and traffic services.
His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, stated that this initiative is part of Ajman Police's efforts to embody the values of loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices of the nation's martyrs by offering qualitative incentives through dedicated proactive services to their families, enhancing their quality of life and affirming their status at the heart of the nation. His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police added that the "Martyr's Trust" initiative is a translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, to enhance the community role of the Ajman Police Sports and Shooting Club, which plays a leading role in serving the community through sponsoring and hosting community events, activities, and initiatives. This unique initiative serves the social fabric and honors the nation's distinguished citizens. For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Mohammed bin Hazim Al Suwaidi, Head of the Martyr's Trust Initiative Team, said that Ajman Police were keen to ensure that the initiative is comprehensive and integrated. Through the Police Sports and Shooting Club, the initiative provides free sports memberships for the children of martyrs in all club sports activities to support their hobbies and develop their skills. It also provides a free booth at the Police Club Ramadan Carnival. The initiative also prioritizes securing their future by giving their children priority for employment with Ajman Police, as part of Emiratisation and empowerment plans. The head of the Martyr's Trust Initiative team added that the initiative includes providing vehicle inspection services to widows of martyrs directly at their residences, and providing proactive services to their children upon reaching the legal age, by opening a traffic file, following up with them, and caring for them until they obtain a driver's license, free of charge. A hotline, 0508973223, is also dedicated to providing social support services, in addition to providing a hall to hold graduation parties and events for the families of martyrs. The initiative also provides a discount card for the families of martyrs, in coordination with the Dubai Police.
