Manama Comprehensive Police Station implements a traffic plan to raise awareness among students in Manama area schools.
The Al Manama Comprehensive Police Station at the Ajman Police General
Command implemented a traffic awareness plan targeting students in the Al Manama
area. This comes as part of its ongoing efforts to promote traffic culture and raise
awareness of safety rules among students. Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Rashid Al
Matroushi, Head of the Al Manama Comprehensive Police Station, said that the
implementation of this plan falls within the framework of Ajman Police's efforts to
spread traffic culture among school students and encourage them to adhere to positive
traffic behaviors that ensure their safety and the safety of road users.
Major Ahmed Al Abdouli, Head of the Traffic and Patrols Department, explained that
the plan included field initiatives for more than 200 students, starting with Ibn Hazm
Secondary School and Al Manama Private School. The initiative focused on several
areas related to traffic safety, including the dangers of driving without a driver's
license and the resulting legal and behavioral consequences. It also highlighted the
safe use of roads as a pedestrian and while riding bicycles and motorcycles, the
importance of adhering to crossing and transportation rules, and the dangers of
erroneous practices. It also included a demonstration of realistic traffic situations and
the distribution of educational brochures appropriate for the targeted age group. The
Head of the Traffic and Patrols Department affirmed the continuation of these
initiatives in partnership with educational institutions, with the aim of instilling traffic
safety principles in the minds of young people and contributing to the development of
a generation aware of traffic rules and their responsibilities on the road.
